What do you get the dad with everything this Father’s Day? You could get him locked up!
Escape Live, which has venues in Birmingham, Coventry, Stratford-upon-Avon and Essex, offers a range of exciting experiences where teams of between two and six players have to solve a series of clues to escape within an hour.
The experiences are proving to be extremely popular and are highly-rated on websites such as TripAdvisor. Such is the popularity, the company started offering gift vouchers and now sell hundreds of them around key holidays and events in the calendar.
John Dalziel, part of the team behind Escape Live, said: “Since we launched in 2015, we’ve grown massively and now have a whole range of different experiences. The principle behind all of them is the same, players have to solve clues to escape within an hour but each themed room offers something unique and makes each game an experience in itself.
“We know that there’s lots of people out there who struggle to know what to get dad for Father’s Day – is it beer, chocolates, socks? He’s probably had them all before.
“This is something a bit different and actually what he’d probably value most is spending an hour in a room with his kids having a bit of fun – but then he’ll be happy to escape after an hour!
“If they fancy themselves as a bit of Sherlock Holmes, a time traveller, a fan of Harry Potter, Prison Break or Ocean’s Eleven, then we’ve definitely got the game for them.”
