After carefully searching every corner of the party, Piper finally spotted everyone. She let out a loud whistle, the kind only her family would recognise, and soon they were waddling over to her with delighted cries.
“Oh Piper, you’re here!” her Nana said, wrapping her in a warm hug. “We’ve missed you so much!”
“I missed you all too! You won’t believe the adventure I’ve had…”
They gathered in a cosy corner with some kelp-cocoa, as Piper recounted her incredible journey, trekking all the way to the North Pole, meeting Santa and even FLYING!
As the final minutes of the year ticked down, the family made their way outside to watch the display.
“3… 2… 1… Happy New Year!” The igloo erupted in cheers, music swelled, and colourful fireworks lit up the sky. Piper smiled, looking around at her family, surrounded by love, laughter, and the promise of new adventures in the year to come.
