Escape Live Coventry Ranked #1 on Tripadvisor

An escape room experience has been voted the best attraction in Coventry and has celebrated by signing up for another five years in the city.

Escape Live has committed to a new lease to operate at Coventry’s FarGo Village, where it has three active escape rooms – Prison Break, Casino Heist and Armageddon

As part of its renewed commitment, Escape Live has partnered with two of its neighbours at FarGo Village – Common Ground, a multi-purpose art gallery and shop and The Box, a 420 square metre venue, which offers corporate team-building events and meetings.

It comes as the venue revealed that it has now risen up the ranks to be rated number one out of 184 attractions in the ‘Things To Do’ category on Tripadvisor for Coventry.

Escape Live is also in the top 10 per cent of visitor attractions globally after picking up the 2022 Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice award, which recognises the best performing and best reviewed businesses across the world.

The business, which has expanded dramatically since it was launched by Coventry entrepreneurs Jas Sodhi and John Dalziel in 2014, has venues across the country as well as now offering opportunities for players anywhere in the world to take on its Prison Break experience.

Jas Sodhi, managing director at Escape Live, said: “We are delighted to have signed up for another five years at FarGo Village and to be rated as the number one experience in the city.

“These are exciting times for the business as we continue to offer families and friends a great experience but we’ve really seen our business client-base increase too.

“Like so many businesses in this sector, we have had to navigate the economic challenges caused by the pandemic – followed by the pressures of rising costs – but we remain firmly committed to investing and creating the best experience we can.

“As well as offering Prison Break to online customers, we are also working hard to develop our business to business offer with other venues at FarGo because it’s a great corporate experience too.”

Eight years on from its formation, the business now boasts more than 40 staff and has expanded across the country, opening up experiences in Birmingham, Chelmsford, Essex, Liverpool, Stratford-upon-Avon and Southend-on-Sea.

Its office headquarters is also based in the city after a recent move to offices in Blondvil Street, Cheylesmore.
